How long do you have to return something to Apple?

14 days from the day you receive it. You can return or exchange a product with a receipt within 14 days of the date you receive it from Apple.

You can return or exchange a product with a receipt within 14 days of the date you receive it from Apple.
It must be in original condition with all its parts, accessories and packaging.
Only products bought directly from Apple — online or at an Apple Store — go back to Apple. Apple products bought at another retailer follow that retailer's policy (see our Target, Best Buy and Amazon pages).

Opened software (unless never installed), electronic software downloads, Apple Gift Cards and Apple Developer products.

Approved refunds or exchanges are issued within 10 business days. Cash returns over $750 are refunded by mailed check.
Gift receipt returns get an Apple Gift Card.
Returning an iPhone or iPad doesn't cancel your wireless service — check with your carrier.
Price drop: if Apple lowers the price of an Apple-branded product within 14 calendar days of when you receive it, contact Apple within 14 days of the price change for the difference (limited-time sales like Black Friday excluded).
