The return window
- Sam's Club backs purchases with its 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: if you're a current member and not satisfied with a purchase made online or in club, it will refund or replace it, with a few exceptions.
- Most items can be returned at any time.
- Electronics and major appliances: within 90 days. Commercial heavy equipment and motorsports items: within 30 days. Cell phones (prepaid, postpaid and no contract): within 14 days.
- Some items have their own policy — check the item's product page.
Can't be returned
- Gift cards and prepaid cards, tickets, collectibles, trading cards (opened or unopened), custom-made items like personalized gifts and photos, Truckload Program purchases (except for manufacturer defects or damage) and prescriptions.
- Check with your club for beer, wine and spirits, tires and batteries, cigarettes and tobacco, eyeglasses and hearing aids.
How to return
- In club: bring the item and your receipt to the Member Services desk at any Sam's Club. Refunds go back as cash or credit, depending on how you paid.
- Online orders: start the return from order details in your account, or call 888-746-7726. Most SamsClub.com orders can also be returned to any US club. In-club purchases can't be shipped back.
- To get a full refund you may need to return everything that came with it — packaging, manuals, accessories, and any promotional gifts or gift cards.
No receipt?
- Sam's Club prefers your original receipt or printed order, but says it will do its best to process your return without it.
