The return window
- Burlington asks that all items be returned within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt, new, unused, unwashed and in the original packaging. Refunds go to your original payment (PIN debit purchases get cash).
- Receipted returns after 30 days get merchandise credit instead of a refund.
No receipt?
- Non-receipted returns need a photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport or military ID) and get merchandise credit for the lowest selling price — as do returns after 60 days.
- All returns go through a third-party verification system, and Burlington can limit or refuse refunds.
Layaway
- Layaway deposits, payments and returned layaway merchandise get merchandise credit, less service fees.
