The return window
- Returnable items can come back within 30 calendar days of the purchase date, in original, unused condition with all tags attached and in the original packaging (unless your receipt or a sign at checkout gives a longer window).
- Store purchases need Dillard's original proof of purchase (POP) label. For online orders, the POP is in your Order Status email and order history.
- You choose a refund to your original payment (including sales tax) or a Dillard's merchandise credit. Check purchases have a 10-day wait for a cash or check refund.
Where to return & fees
- Free at any Dillard's store (not Clearance Centers). By mail, the Dillard's return label costs $9.95; some items also carry a restocking fee shown before checkout.
- Electronics, kids' gear and shoes must be returned in the manufacturer's original packaging.
- Gifts: return to a store for a gift card or merchandise credit.
Can't be returned
- Clearance marked down 65% or more, sale items with an additional discount, and personalized merchandise — unless damaged, defective or shipped in error. Dillard's doesn't do price adjustments.
