The return window
- Nordstrom says there are no time limits for returns or exchanges, and it handles returns case by case. From time to time it may not accept a return.
- There are no restocking fees.
How to return
- In store: any register. Refunds in 3–5 business days.
- By mail: start online for a prepaid label, or show a QR code at an eligible USPS or FedEx location. Returns take 8–12 business days to process, then 3–5 business days for the refund.
- Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com items can also go back to Nordstrom Rack — except fine jewelry and designer items.
No receipt?
- A receipt or order number finds your purchase fastest, but Nordstrom can usually look it up other ways.
- With no record of sale, any refund comes as a Nordstrom gift card at the current price, and you'll need ID.
Exceptions
- Gift cards can't be returned. Watchfinder & Co. pre-owned items are final sale.
- Balsam Hill: 30 days or before December 25, whichever comes first — call customer care for a label.
- Fine jewelry can't be mailed back; return it to a store with a Fine Jewelry department. Car seats must be in their original, unopened boxes.
