The return window
- DICK'S Sporting Goods, Calia, VRST and Golf Galaxy give you 90 days on most products — from the purchase date in store, or the original ship date for online orders. The return must reach DICK'S within those 90 days.
- DICK'S Warehouse Sale and Going, Going, Gone! locations: 30 days on most products.
- Products must be clean and resalable. Some items can't be returned once opened (see below).
Refunds & receipts
- With valid proof of purchase — order number, confirmation email, receipt, pack slip or return barcode — you're refunded to your original payment for most purchases.
- You get a DICK'S gift card instead if you paid with a non-DICK'S gift card, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, PayPal, or more than one payment type. Marketplace orders like Instacart get store credit.
- No proof of purchase: bring a valid ID and you get store credit at the lowest selling price (in-store use only). Gift receipts get a gift card or even exchange.
- Original shipping charges aren't refunded.
Exceptions
- Bikes: generally can't be returned. Unused bikes get a 24-hour size and color check — from purchase, pickup or delivery — with all labels and tags still on.
- Final sale: trading cards, custom or special-order items, autographed collectibles, items that use fuel or gasoline, airbeds and gift cards.
- No returns once opened: football helmets, air beds, electric scooters and bikes, face coverings, mouthguards, ice rinks, portable lavatories and Whoop trackers. Used bats can't be returned.
- Pre-owned, demo and refurbished items and Nike Adapt shoes: exchange only, within 7 days, in the same condition. Opened Hyperice and Theragun products: 30 days.
- Electronics must come back in the original packaging with all manuals, parts and accessories.
