The return window
- Store purchases: return or exchange at any Michaels within 60 days for the full purchase amount, with your receipt.
- Michaels.com orders: return within 60 days, to any Michaels store or through your online account. Online-only costumes and accessory kits must be returned 7 days before the holiday.
- Items must be new, unused and in their original packaging (defective products excepted).
No receipt?
- Michaels will try to look up your receipt by your credit or debit card or Michaels Rewards number.
- If it can't, you'll need a valid photo ID, and you get a Store Return Card or exchange at the item's lowest price in the previous 90 days.
Refunds
- Refunds go back the way you paid, except: debit card purchases are refunded as cash, and gift card or gift receipt purchases get a Store Return Card.
- Paid by check? There's a 10-day wait (or a Return Card within 10 days).
Exceptions
- Cricut products: only if unopened, with a receipt. Glowforge machines and filters: within 14 days, sealed and unopened, with a receipt.
- Clearance items, cut fabric, opened trading cards, and gift or prepaid cards can't be returned.
- Custom framing can be reworked at the same store within 14 days of pickup.
